About Shiri Music Therapy
Nejama Ferstman graduated with a degree in Music Therapy in 2009 from Capilano University in Vancouver, British Columbia. Trained and experienced with all ages from neo-natal to end of life, Nejama specializes in post-stroke rehabilitation & aphasia, Dementia care, chronic pain management, mental health challenges as well as social cognitive learning challenges.
Nejama uses meaningful musical interactions which engage the participant while supporting his cognitive and affective growth. Skilled at adapting musical repertoire and activities to suit the needs and tastes of her clients, Nejama serves her clients with warmth and caring.
Sessions take place at her studio in Victoria, BC, or she can come to you.
